About the role

As a maintenance technician focused on preventive maintenance, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and developing lubrication and inspection of the facility's equipment. Through systematic work, you will identify deviations at an early stage and help prevent operational disruptions and improve the facility's availability.

You will work under the maintenance coordinator and closely with technicians and external suppliers, playing an important role in developing effective work routines and contributing to a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate lubrication and inspection of machines and equipment.

• Establish, develop, and optimize round lists and preventive maintenance plans.

• Identify deviations and propose actions for improved operational reliability.

• Ensure that assigned work orders are executed according to plan.

• Guide and coordinate hired resources as needed.

• Participate in other maintenance work at the facility.

• Contribute to continuous improvements of work methods and processes.

• Maintain contact with external suppliers and, if necessary, approve timesheets.

• Ensure that work is performed according to applicable safety and work environment requirements.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Technical education in mechanics, maintenance, or industrial engineering, or equivalent work experience.

• Experience in maintenance work within industrial operations.

• Experience in lubrication, inspection, or preventive maintenance.

• Good technical understanding of machines and equipment.

• Ability to work systematically and independently.

• Good knowledge of Swedish and basic English.

It is a merit if you have:

• Experience in systematic preventive maintenance or maintenance work.

• Experience working in maintenance systems.

• Experience in process industry or production environment.

• Knowledge of work environment and safety work.

• Experience in improvement work or optimization of work routines.
